I’ve always been a fan of email. Could be because I’m inherently shy and introverted…or it could be because it’s arguably the only marketing platform that has year-over-year outpaced and outperfromed all the other mediums.

I s’pose it’s a bit of both…but I digress…

Writing and sending useful emails is more formula and science than it is art. And that’s good news. It means that even if you don’t know very much about human psychology, you can simply plug-in tried and right formulas to boost your email marketing success.

The Motivating Sequence is one such proven formula.

Alan H. Munroe was a popular Purdue college professor in the 1930s. He realized that although one audience may differ significantly from another, people are people. Whatever speech or presentation they are listening to can be structured so that it automatically improves the speaker’s ability to achieve the desired result.
