A Note To People Who Put Their Dreams On Hold
“To begin, begin.” William Wordsworth
************************
We were both once kids.
You and me, I mean.
Remember those days? When life was rather carefree, and when we played make-believe games, they seemed to have felt like real life?
I bet you wanted to be something.
Maybe a ballerina or a fireman. You know, something that when you reflect back, you realize you could very well have done it with the right amount of gumption, stick-to-it-ive-ness, and hard work.
Ahhhhh. Those were the days. It’s actually putting a big smile on my face as I type. You?
Then we get to the phase where “life happens”.
I’m not exactly sure at what age or the event that triggers the old adage of “life happens.” Still, it’s something we almost all say as the culprit behind not following our dreams and passions.
“Life happens” is the ultimate villain and the master of crushing dreams. Not even Batman can save you from “life happens.”
On some levels, you know I’m right.
Right?
