How I Was Adopted By Vikings, And I’m Not Even Norwegian

In the end, how you lived your life is the most important thing.

If you’ve watched the TV show Vikings or even the more modern one, Lilyhammer, one gets a sense of what it might have been like and what it is like in Norway old and Norway new.

Honestly, I couldn’t tell ya how accurate they are. Still, I can tell ya that after watching them and, of course, just knowing what a Viking symbolized, I always wondered what it would be like.

You know.

To be a Viking.

And one more mini truth is I’ve always wanted to go to Scandinavia. Specifically Sweden or Norway.

So let’s kinda fast forward to like, well, today.

I’m living in Norway.

And look, as much as I’d love to create a listicle of the “5 Steps To Get Adopted by Vikings” or some other cliché article, I’m merely gonna share how it happened to me, in, well, three easy steps (not five).
