Norwegian Wisdom For The Ages
“There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing” every Norwegian I’ve met so far, and a local proverb.
I went for a walk a bit ago. Weather this am was 61 degrees (Fahrenheit) and sunny. The weather app said rain was coming.
The locals said so was wind and a little chill.
So I took my fleece with me, just in case.
About 15" into my walk you could feel the shift.
Wind…
Clouds…
Sprinkles…
The temp dropped about 8 or 9 degrees. Rapidly.
But it was I because I was prepared, I didn’t alter my mission a bit.
And it hammered home the point, yet again, as to why they have storm shelters strategically placed around the island.
Things change fast.
Got me to thinking about you…(yeah you, the one reading this)
And how things have changed so fast and likely radically over the last few days, weeks and months.
