We’ve all been there — sitting down with a cup of coffee, sketching out that perfect five-year plan.

It feels productive, right? Like you’re taking control of your future. But here’s the harsh truth: While you’re busy planning, someone else is out there doing shit. And by the time you’re done perfecting your roadmap, they’re miles ahead.

The real question is, are you ready to stop planning and start doing?

Plans Are Useless

Here’s the problem…Plans are useless because entropy runs the world.

Life is messy, unpredictable, and chaotic. You think you can map out every step, but the reality is, life doesn’t care about your plans. It’ll throw curveballs that your carefully crafted roadmap can’t catch. Instead of wasting time on a five-year plan that’s likely to crumble, focus on the present. What can you do today that will move the needle?

For example, instead of planning how to write your book over the next year, commit to writing for 30 minutes every day this month. Don’t think about the whole book; think about what you can get done today. When life inevitably gets in the way, you’ll still have made progress because you…
