The Truth Behind The Pain You’ve Been Hiding
In a previous article, I talked about how silence is a skill I honed and learned to master.
It’s served me well, having grown up in a world where people (aka my family) loooove to talk and hear their voice.
I believe, and on some levels, you do too, that the chatty Cathy’s often talk a lot as a means to cover up real pains. Deep hurts. Things that are holding them back.
That’s not to say that my family was in pain, so just roll with me here a minute.
And then the age of the internet was upon us and a college kid known today as ‘Zuck’ launched Facebook, and the advent of social media shoved us into a new era.
Like Jack Nicholas in ‘The Shining’, smashing an ax through the bathroom door and plowing his face into my space, (heh-heh, pun intended) Facebook, Insta, Twitter and now Tik-Tok is firmly entrenched into our lives. And like it or not…
