The vaccine debate rages on…
I know there are tons of things to talk about on a beautiful Saturday morning. Still, upon waking up today, my inbox, newsfeed, and frankly, my thoughts are on the rapidly emerging COVID vaccine.
So naturally, I’m curious what your thoughts are on it.
Or more succinctly…would you take it?
But first, here are my thoughts, and since you’re here, a friend, on my list or on your screen and reading this, I kinda wanna share, and who knows. Maybe we open this up to a real, adult-like discussion.
My thoughts:
As you know, I’m a healthcare provider. A “front-line” RN kinda in the thick of it. And as such, the potential for infection or even a re-infection is much more probable with me. OK…so I am working in a foreign country, but that is neither here nor there. COVID is COVID.
My risk is higher than yours, and exponentially so.
“But what about the studies and the long-term effects, Rick? Doesn’t that bother you?”
Yeah.
Yeah, it does.
What bothers me more, though, are all the other unknowns that we all walk around with each and every day. Not knowing who is a carrier and who isn’t…
