So you want to be a freelance writer, huh?

Get in line because you’re definitely not alone. In recent years, more and more people are ditching the traditional 9–5 in favor of a work-from-home career.

And what’s not to love?

With the rise of the internet and the growing demand for content, there has never been a better time to be a freelance writer, and the benefits are plentiful.

But what are the benefits of this type of work, exactly?

Let’s have a peep.

You can work from anywhere in the world

During the pandemic, I literally spent an entire year and a half working remotely from Europe.

I was not only able to flourish as a writer but also gained a few additional clients.

One of the best things about being a freelance writer is that you can literally work from anywhere in the world. As long as you have a laptop and an internet connection, you’re good to go. Say goodbye to your boring cubicle and hello to your new office on the beach/in the mountains/in your PJs on your couch.
