When You Finally Grow A Pair, Make Sure They’re Huge

“It’s lonely at the top. Ninety-nine percent of people in the world are convinced they are incapable of achieving great things, so they aim for the mediocre. The level of competition is thus fiercest for “realistic” goals, paradoxically making them the most time- and energy-consuming.” Tim Ferriss

The other day I wrote about haters and success. It was mostly about how we tend to naturally give haters, or ‘trolls’ as I call them, way too much of our precious time and attention.

If we’re going, to be honest with one another, then we have to admit that it hurts when folks say, post, write or whisper negative stuff about us. No, I’m not talking things about what you did at the party last week or the lame post they think you made on Insta.

I’m talking about the negativity that emerges when we finally show up and pursue our passion. Call it a startup, a side-hustle, a gig, or launching that writing career or what have you…what I’m alluding to are those moments when we pull the trigger and pursue our dreams.

I don’t care what the experts or gurus say when a barb is tossed your way…
