Whenever I Feel Lost and Alone As A Writer, I Remember These 4 Things
An honest, authentic guide to overcoming
Being a writer can be a lonely experience
You put all your thoughts and feelings out there for everyone to see, and sometimes it feels like you’re the only one who understands them. It’s easy to feel lost and alone when struggling to find your voice or going through a rough patch in your writing career. But don’t worry, you’re not alone. There are plenty of other writers out there who understand what you’re going through.
Here are four things to remember when you feel lost and alone as a new (or experienced) writer.
You are not limited, nor are you stuck
It is never too late to turn your career and life around.
Embrace where you are and become empowered by it because that’s all you can control. No matter your past, what matters most is the present and future — so make them count. Maybe you lost a client, or perhaps you’re totally blocked on what to write; just know that this is temporary.
Remember that not all storms come to disrupt your life…some come to clear your path.
